PLAN‍‍‍NING

We assisted with the guest list, secured media coverage and developed the overall 'look and feel' of the event based upon each brand. With the invit‍‍‍ation as one of the first priorities, we used it to set the tone for the entire event.‍‍‍

INVITATION & SIGNAGE

For the venue itself, we took several trips to evaluate what was possible to visually brand the location with the restaurant's Special Events Director. We had to be careful given the style of the interior and created a planogram to identify type, location and number of branding opportunities. We also established the flow of foot traffic based upon arrival time, staged photos in front of the step-and-repeat banner, coordinated with the bar for cocktail hour before seatin‍‍‍g the guests for dinner and client's new product announcements.

 

CUSTOM TOUCHES‍‍‍

To continue the brand introduction, we took advantage of customizing elements at the table. Each guest received the night's special menu and wine list, a special ‍‍‍wrap to hold the napkin/utensils and branded tent card with each guest's name.

AS WORK PROGRESSED TO CREATE THE BRANDS FOR THE HARRINGTON GROUP AND HARRINGTON WELLNESS, WE WERE ASKED TO PUT TOGETHER A LAUNCH EVENT TIMED WITH THE NBA'S ANNUAL ALL-STAR GAME HELD IN LOS ANGELES. WITH‍‍‍ A HIGH PROFILE GUEST LIST, BRAND COMMUNICATION DESIGN SCOUTED LOCATIONS IN BEVERLY HILLS AND SELECTED WOLFGANG'S STEAKHOUSE. OUR CHARGE WAS TO MANAGE THE ENTIRE EVENT FROM THE PLANNING, SET-UP AND STAGING, MONITOR ON-SITE AND OVERSEE THE TEAR DOWN.

 

PRODUCT SAMPLES

GIFT BAG & GIFT BOX WITH PRODUCT SAMPLES

To hold the four items, we secured a handsome black gift box and silkscreened the Harrington brand on the top lid. Inside, we created a custom insert card, with a special message from the founder of The Harrington Group. The box was then placed in a custom cloth black bag that doubled as a small backpack. For the event, 200 sets were produced.

An important component of every successful event is the gift bag. For this occasion, we put together a special boxed set containing actual samples of products from each company. Viola provided the vape pen set and other items. BCD worked with the client to cre‍‍‍ate a sampler for the CBD Wellness Cream. And finally, for Butter Baby, we secured a custom container to hold THC infused cookies. The cards below sat above and below the cookies within the clear package.

At the same time, we recommended moving away from a paper invitation and invited the guests via Paperless Post. We then trained the client's administrative assistant to take over the proce‍‍‍ss, monitor the responses and finalize the guest list.
